Fun und Action in Bournemouth

Photography Workshop
On Monday, we offered a Photography Workshop in which Anett, our Centre Manager, taught the students how to take perfect pictures. After a short theoretical session, they went out to test their new knowledge about point of views and orientation. The result were very beautiful and funny pictures.

Black and White Welcome Party
In the evening, it was time to have a special Welcome Party for our new arrivals from Spain, France, Switzerland and of course Germany. Under a theme everybody was dressed in black and white and started to dance very soon after having a healthy Welcome Drink so that we all had a lot of fun.

Beach Olympics
On Tuesday evening we could benefit from the nice weather and arranged a competition on the beach. The students were divided into 3 teams and had to fulfil several relays and tasks using e. g. balls or their own creativity. Our students really enjoyed this session outside.

IP’s Got … TALENT!

Crowds gathered together in the ocean yesterday evening, for the special “IP’s Got Talent” event. Many talents were revealed during the party, including dancing, acting, playing or even composing music …

The courageous Ronja opened the contest, performing a very touching monologue. She was followed by me, one of the three tremendous piano players, with Celia and the especially talented Karin, who played a piece she had composed on her own.
Again, the talent of acting was shown in a funny original play, in which I also took part. Later, the judges were amazed by Irene’s performance with the Cariocas. After Vivianne’s group’s Dancing Battle, and Fibi and Franzi’s Dancing Jive, the last, but – Oh! – not least contestants to perform on stage were the amazing Spanish Dancers, who somehow managed to involve the whole audience in their act.
Finally, the issue of the contest was announced, and four certificates were given to the most talented contestants:
“And the winners are …
● in the category of acting: Ronja Kraft;
● for playing the piano and composing music: Karin Fichtner;
● for carioca handling: Irene;
● and … for dancing:  the amazing Spanish group !”

The night in the ocean ended with another choreography by the IP team.
