Internationale Freundschaften in Exmouth

Dieser Eintrag wurde am Montag, Juli 20th, 2009 erstellt und unter England, Exmouth abgelegt.

The third week in Exmouth can be described in only one word: internationality. The week started with an international night during which our German, Ukrainian, Spanish and Italian students represented their countries through dances, songs, and national anthems. Everybody was part of the international party which was at its peak when the Spanish were joined by the audience to dance the world-famous Macarena.

The friendship between our international students was further reinforced during the friendship bracelets workshop: students were exchanging hand-made bracelets as a proof of their warm relations with their peers. Those who preferred sports activities had the opportunity to enjoy table tennis and pool tournaments, beach and park activities, as well as a beach obstacle competition. Moreover, the IP team organized several activities which attracted almost all students: barbecue, pub quiz, and cluedo. The latter was a real challenge for the detective abilities and skills of the students who had the use tricks “a la Sherlock Holmes” to figure out who killed Taz!!! The programme of the IP week had in addition a cultural element: a walk to a unique 16-angles house built two centuries ago, the Round House. The week ended with our Chick and Shocking party which was also the farewell party for some of our international students.
