Pyjama Party in Bournemouth
21. August 2009Another fun- filled week in the sunny IP Bournemouth. The week kicked off with the making of friendship bracelets. We had beautiful bright colours of wools and beads as the students took the opportunity to show off their creativity. Some made bracelets for their loved ones back at home and others exchanged bracelets with their new found friends.
The evening event ‘the Pyjama Party’ was admittedly one of the funniest and most enjoyable parties we have had so far. The Ocean was transformed into a big, cosy and relaxing bedroom with colourful balloons and cuddly teddy bears. The students arrived properly dressed for the occasion in their ‘PJs’ and as usual, they danced, danced and danced as they enjoyed the freshly prepared energy bursting fruits and vegetables.
Open Stage in Chichester
17. August 2009Chichester’s last Open Stage event was held on 12th of August and was most certainly a night to remember! All the acts were prepared during the afternoon workshops we offered. These covered acting, singing, dancing and arts and crafts. The vast majority of our students participated and they all contributed some brilliant and very imaginative pieces!

29. Juli 2009The weather is turning better once in a while and so we could enjoy some of the afternoons at the beach and the students had a great time!!
Also the ‘limbo’ is liked a lot and we dance it almost every day, followed by the special IP-dance we introduced to the students.
Welcome Party in Exeter
10. Juli 2009Die ersten Kids sind da! Juha! Nun geht es ans gemeinsame kennen lernen, denn schließlich sollen innerhalb von zwei Wochen ganz viele neue internationale Freundschaften geschlossen werden. Um das Eis zum schmelzen zu bekommen wird hops ein neuer Dance einstudiert um danach, die Nachrichten der beeindruckten Mädels am „Message Board“ zu studieren.

This week was really exciting. On Tuesday we decided to do a Halloween Party as the theme night. The lead the students into a completely dark room and scared them- dressed up as witches, vampires and so on. Afterwards we played funny games like Newspaper-dance and Freeze.

Our 4th week in Chichester was so interesting that we of course want to tell you everything about it!!
The new groups are very great so there is a lot to talk about!
It started on Monday with very popular workshops like Badminton, Basketball and Dance where it cleared out that there a many many talented dancers around. Every day there was a new dance added; now we could fill up a whole evening.(ip dance, old ip dance grace Kelly, ymca, hey baby, Barbie girl, 2 french dances, called Coudour and Madison, Please don’t stop the music……)
Second week in cornwall – here we go again!!!

This week in the IP section in Cornwall we had to say goodbye to our first batch of kids. It was an emotional day but realizing that we had accomplished our very first cycle of language students seemed to have an odd accomplishment and eagerness for the next bus- load of children ready to torment us.
