Montag, 2. August 2010Bericht England Schülersprachreise Bournemouth
Donnerstag, 29. Juli 2010Hier der erste Erfahrungsbericht von unseren England Schülersprachreisen nach Bournemouth:
An important part of the activities in the IP-Centre Bournemouth are the parties on Monday and Thursday. They are held in our meeting place, called “the IP Ocean”, which in fact is a huge college hall. Every party night is based on its own theme like e.g. “Black-and-White” or “Crossdressing”. Last Thursday, everyone was asked to come in fancy dress. As you can see on the photos, different interpretations of the word “fancy” were allowed. The costumes varied from getting dressed up like an actress or actor on an award show to self-made costumes that reminded you of German carnaval.

Montag, 24. August 2009My time in Bournemouth
I spent two amazing weeks at IP Bournemouth where I had a lot of fun, made new friends and could enjoy the programme which the IP Team prepared for us. Even the weather was better than I expected. In the first week, I especially liked the workshop IP Summer Magazine where we collected some IP gossip as well as horoscopes, made a photo story and judged the summer fashion. Also the Nail Painting was a pleasure since I first spoiled my hands with a peeling, then I could learn how to make French Manicure and completed it with nice flower stickers. One of my favourite evening events was the Black & White Party where almost everybody dressed up in black and/or white.

Pyjama Party in Bournemouth
Freitag, 21. August 2009Another fun- filled week in the sunny IP Bournemouth. The week kicked off with the making of friendship bracelets. We had beautiful bright colours of wools and beads as the students took the opportunity to show off their creativity. Some made bracelets for their loved ones back at home and others exchanged bracelets with their new found friends.
The evening event ‘the Pyjama Party’ was admittedly one of the funniest and most enjoyable parties we have had so far. The Ocean was transformed into a big, cosy and relaxing bedroom with colourful balloons and cuddly teddy bears. The students arrived properly dressed for the occasion in their ‘PJs’ and as usual, they danced, danced and danced as they enjoyed the freshly prepared energy bursting fruits and vegetables.

Letzte Woche in Exmouth
Freitag, 21. August 2009Last week in Exmouth
The last days in Exmouth have been very active with many different workshops and exciting evening activities. Having started with a Twister night on Saturday the students already got an initial feeling for the active upcoming activities.
One highlight was the Cluedo night. Turning the board game into a real life play, the students had to find out who murdered Taz by asking questions to the team and combining their answers.
Chichester – Tolle Stimmung unter internationalen Schülern
Freitag, 14. August 2009The Cross-Dressing Party on Friday was the perfect goodbye party for all of the students who left us last weekend. This event illustrated just how comfortable all the students had become with one another during their stay with us and highlighted the perfect melting-pot we had succeeded in creating within our multinational student community.
All the students were exceedingly enthusiastic about the theme of this rather special party and some had clearly put a lot of time and effort into designing their “look” for the evening. Both our male and female students let their imaginations run wild as they traded tips and swapped clothes. When they finally reached Oaklands House, many of them fashionably late, they strode in in some very daring outfits. Their confidence allowed them to pull off absolutely everything!
