Your international IP Team is now ready to welcome you for a great summer. Urenna and Cynhia are from Uk, Anett and Anne from Germany, Yani from Bulgaria and Nicolas from France: they will be your team leaders during your holiday in Bournemouth.

Our Centre Manager, Anett will do the “IP Dance” with you; Anne and Yani will organise wonderful trips; Urenna and Cynthia will be your Activity Teachers and Programme Managers; and Nicolas will organise crazy parties and sports tournaments.

For example, a fantasy journey to the beach where we were lying on blankets on the floor and kept our eyes closed. Meanwhile, the leader told us to imagine the sun on our stomachs, the sand between our toes and the sound of the sea.

Another workshop was more active like an exciting adventure. We imagined that we were a part of Indiana Jones’ team in the jungle, and were attacked by wild animals and a giant spider. We were given cocktails, fruits and vegetables to recharge ourselves in order to have enough energy to cross the giant spider web.
Finally, on Wednesday we were challenged to do our own Gut Drauf workshop on the open stage.

Some of the students had the idea to take the audience on an imaginary IP flight to Bournemouth with a nice IP captain and his stewardesses. In order to learn the safety procedures the audience had to imitate the stewardesses’ movements and orders. After the safety instructions everybody gave their sitting neighbor a nice “pizza massage”. This meaning making a pizza on our friend’s back. By some random reason, Bob Marley showed up at the flight and did some rather entertaining performance.

The other groups put up a fantasy world’s scenery for us, and made us feel like we were a part of it. This fantasy world featured a human flower, a human bumblebee and some beautiful flowers and butterflies.
According to us, Gut Drauf is something that should be implemented intro every person’s everyday life, since today’s society is getting more and more stressful. That is why we really stress the importance of including the Gut Drauf workshops in our IP program in Bournemouth, Talbot.

As we have IP training in Chichester we had a possibility to watch this match in the pub of Chichester University. There were many football fans in the bar, most of them were the supporters of German team, of course.

After the match had finished in favor of Germany, all started to dance ‘IP Dance’.

Everybody was so happy and pleased this evening that they could not just stop to dance.

Even the IP training team was dancing all the evening.

The teams are sitting around little tables and have to write down the – hopefully – right answers to many questions. It is a little dark but cozy atmosphere like in a British “Pub” and everybody is excited, if its team will have the most correct answers and if it will happen to be the winner of the “Pub Quiz”.

The Teams are all quite good and there is a lot of chat about the funny and interesting questions which Verena is presenting. It is really nice to discover that the different nationalities of the team members contribute different input to the discussions about the questions.

The “Pub Quiz” is obviously a good chance to get to know different people, bringing up some funny chatting themes and it shows that everyone has some special strengths and knowledge that he may share with other people in order to be a successful team.

Lets kick!!!! Das ist der ständige Begleiter bei den verschiedenen Programmangeboten unseres IP-Teams.

Aber was ist das eigentlich? Kicks sind einfach kleine Aktivitäten, die in den Programmpunkten für Abwechslung sorgen und Körper und Geist wieder auf Trab bringen. Sie sollen eine kleine Ablenkung sein und alle aufmuntern. Oft finden sie an der frischen Luft statt, aber sie können genauso gut am Flughafen, in der Stadt oder auch im geschlossenen Raum stattfinden.

Ein Kick kann ganz verschieden aussehen. Beliebt sind die sogenannten Wellen, wovon es kleine,
mittlere und große gibt.

Aber auch Kicks, wie diese sind sehr beliebt: Alle stellen sich in einem Kreis, so dicht wie es geht, und fassen dem Vordermann an die Schulter. Dann versucht sich der komplette Kreis zur gleiche Zeit auf die Knie des Hintermanns zu setzen. Natürlich wird das nicht immer gut gehen und die meisten werden auf dem Boden landen, ein Kick der für Lacher sorgt.

Oder um eine müde Truppe aufzuwecken: Ein Seil wird in Form eines Quadrats auf Hüfthöhe gespannt und alle Teilnehmer befinden sich in diesem Bereich. Das Ziel ist es aus dem Quadrat hinauskommen, ohne das Seil zu berühren, dabei ist es nicht erlaubt unter dem Band hindurchzukriechen: Teamgeist ist also gefragt!!!

Im Allgemeinen gilt: je mehr Kicks , umso besser!! Also:
