Letzte Woche sind wir nach Oberwesel gegangen, um die Stadt zu besichtigen and ein bischen shopping zu machen. Am Abend haben wir ein Castle Rally getan, wir waren müde aber es war toll!

Donnerstag, 15. April 2010The week on the Schönburg was REALLY great! At the beginning I didn’t want to come, but now I’m happy that I could be here. Every day we did funny games and activities like a trip to Oberwesel, swimming, football, different workshops and so on. And the food was also good, but I miss the Korean food!

Montag, 2. November 2009Ich war in den Herbstferien auf der superschönen Englisch-Burg in Oberwesel. Wir haben viele tolle Sachen unternommen. Ich bin zwei Wochen dort gewesen und habe viele nette Lehrer und Betreuer gehabt: Annette, Sally, Emily, Jens, Stephan, Micky und Tim. Die waren sehr lustig und wir hatten immer viel Spaß. Auch das Englisch lernen hat richtig Spaß gemacht.
Oberwesels first week
Montag, 2. November 2009The first week of the autumn holidays in Oberwesel was one to remember! Starting off with a walk through the old town of Oberwesel we heard about the history of the town, saw the church of St. Mary and got to walk on the old town wall next to the Rhine River.
One highlight of the week was on Wednesday with the trip to castle Rheinfels near the city St. Goar. The castle was enormous and our guide was very funny and entertaining. Learning about the castle, its history and parts we were guided through the big area and got to walk through the many underground tunnels of the centuries old castle. Being at some points only a little more than one meter high, the tunnels were exciting and scary at the same time and were the highlight of the tour of the castle.

The week here in Oberwesel is fantastic. We came to Oberwesel on Sunday. It took us four hours to drive to the castle where we live. In the evening on the same day we played games, so we could tell everybody our names.
On the next day we wrote a test. After that we had lessons. In the afternoon we walked to Oberwesel. There we looked around the town. When we went back it was time for dinner. On the next day, it was a Tuesday, we had lessons in the morning and after that we had lunch.

Our time in Oberwesel was very nice. We had a lot of fun. We made a lot of games on the “Flaggen Wiese”. We liked the IP-teachers because they are funny and very nice. The English lessons weren´t boring. We did a lot of different things for example: we heard some English music and watched English movies or played games. Oberwesel is a nice village and the landscape was very interesting. The weather was very sunny and warm. There were a lot of children from other countries and so we learned to speak English with them. The meals were delicious. Our sleep- room´s were O.K. We loved this time here in Oberwesel. You will like this time here, too.
