Und hier noch ein paar Fotos von unseren Englisch Jugendsprachreisen nach Chichester im Sommer 2010:

A week full of different impressions comes to an end. But it’s not the time to be sad, it is time to party. Celebrating all the new international friends everyone has made and enjoying the farewell’s programme.
The opening act of the programme is the presentation of the theatre group. They show a self-invented version of the classical play Hamlet of William Shakespeare. In which a Queen is turned into a sheep, a jealous and selfish step sister has magical powers and in the end Super Woman takes, perfect entertainment.

Chichester’s last Open Stage event was held on 12th of August and was most certainly a night to remember! All the acts were prepared during the afternoon workshops we offered. These covered acting, singing, dancing and arts and crafts. The vast majority of our students participated and they all contributed some brilliant and very imaginative pieces!

The Cross-Dressing Party on Friday was the perfect goodbye party for all of the students who left us last weekend. This event illustrated just how comfortable all the students had become with one another during their stay with us and highlighted the perfect melting-pot we had succeeded in creating within our multinational student community.
All the students were exceedingly enthusiastic about the theme of this rather special party and some had clearly put a lot of time and effort into designing their “look” for the evening. Both our male and female students let their imaginations run wild as they traded tips and swapped clothes. When they finally reached Oaklands House, many of them fashionably late, they strode in in some very daring outfits. Their confidence allowed them to pull off absolutely everything!

Friendship Bracelets Workshop
Nobody could have anticipated the number of students who turned up to participate in Wednesday afternoon’s Friendship Bracelets Workshop! Running alongside the various sporting activities on offer, we had decided to hold the workshop in question as a quieter alternative to cater for all our students’ varied interests.
We knew that it had been a great idea when we saw all the students sitting waiting for us in the Ocean, waiting to let their creative juices flow!

Pyjama Party
Monday night saw the realisation of our eagerly-anticipated Pyjama Party. This was definitely the perfect event for our students, given their inexhaustible love of dance!
The room was decorated using material produced by the students themselves during the Arts and Crafts workshop for last week’s Open Stage event. The students who had been involved in the creation of these decorations seemed very pleased to see them take pride of place on the walls of our Party Room! Drawings of cuddly teddies beamed down at the dancers from one wall; a king-size bed brightened another. Let’s not forget the colourful welcome and Goodnight signs, also the work of our talented students!

The sun was shining brightly as we stepped off the bus into the charming and picturesque town of Bognor Regis on Thursday 30th July. As soon as the bus doors opened, the students poured out, their excited chatter highlighting the anticipation that had been mounting throughout the journey from Chichester.
Of course, the main attraction in Bognor Regis is its beautiful beach. Some of the students ran straight into the sea, which was surprisingly warm!

On the 29th of July, the IP centre in Chichester was host to its second Open Stage event of the season! Our students prepared for the evening during drama, singing, dance and arts and crafts workshops offered by their IP activity team in the afternoon. Determined to be involved, even some of the students who had been on a trip to Arundel in the afternoon came along to showcase their amazing talent!

Kept in the dark until the very last minute, on Thursday evening we were finally led to “Chichester’s Castle”. This event saw a very enthusiastic and imaginative group of students create a series of challenging games designed to test the participants’ daring and nerve – and their ability to keep a straight face!
