Exeter-language vacations
Wanna improve your English, meet new friends, visit another country and have much fun? Then go on language vacations to Exeter- the place to be. I’m sure you will spend the best time of your life there. Well, for me it was the best time I’ve ever had. I know I can’t speak for you, but if you check it out, you will see that the journey to England is worthwhile. When you’ll arrive back in Germany, you won’t just have improved your English, no, you will also have found new friends.

The first and last Speed dating!
Even though our beloved members of staff Steffi and William already had to leave our centre (btw.: Cheers Steffi & William, we hope you had  a good journey home! Love, your IP team) we are still going on and having a lot fun in Exeter St. Lukes.
On Saturday morning our last group of this summer has arrived from Germany.
Finaly everybody took the chance to get to know each other, after a long exciting weekend in London at our speed dating party on Monday.

Spanish Farewell Party
4 weeks has gone by so fast. It seems our Spanish friends have just arrived and now it is actually time to say goodbye. This month has had everything; “adventures while exploring South of England”, “new international friendships”, “Arguments” and of course “love”.
To make this farewell as nice as possible we organised together with all the students help an awesome evening event. That evening presented all the things the students liked most in the last couple of weeks. After a great Casino Night à la “Casino Royale” everybody got prepared for the Spanish party with non alcoholic Sangria, Macarena and the Ketchup Song. The Ocean was glimmering in the colours red and yellow and was full of happy chatter and laughs while pictures, collected from everybody, were projected at the wall.

Meine Sprachreise war sehr aufregend. Ich habe viele neue Freunde kennengelernt in Exeter ( nicht alle waren aus Deutschland und somit konnte ich mein Englisch verbessen). Der Vorteil war, dass so viele internationale Jugendliche anwesend waren, mit denen man sich nicht auf Deutsch unterhalten konnte. Meiner Meinung nach, hat sich mein Englisch verbessert, besonders im Mündlichen. Nach Beendigung der Reise konnte ich meinen Eltern auf Englisch vieles berichten, was ich alles spannendes erlebt habe.

Thursday night Italy was dominating the “Ocean” in Exeter.
We had an Italian Party and everything was decorated in the colours of this beautiful, sunny and in general dry and warm country. Green, white and red everywhere!

Being on holiday always includes sending postcards to friends and family that stayed at home in order to give them some impressions from the exiting days spend far away. What a surprise for the parents if they even receive a self-made postcard.
