Vielseitiges Programm in Bournemouth

Three unbelievable weeks have so far passed by in the IP Bournemouth Centre. Our first students departed from the centre and the new ones arrived immediately after they left.
Last week was just gorgeous. In one of the workshops the students learnt how to make a kite and then went to the beach later on to test their flight ability. And they really flew.

Then on Monday evening we had a Cross Dress Welcome Party where everybody had to dress up, including the IP Team. The party was filled with an amazing atmosphere. The majority really dressed up and enjoyed pretending to be the opposite sex for one evening.

Everybody was dancing and even the stage was crowded with students. One of the best parts of the evening was the catwalk right through the IP Ocean. The audience couldn’t stop clapping during the parade of the cross dress fashion.
We also didn’t dare to miss the opportunity to vote for Mr. & Mrs. IP 2009. It was a tough choice, because there were so many crazy outfits. But in the end the audience voted for the Swiss Group Leader Fabian to be Mrs. IP and the Spanish girl Laura won the title of being Mr. IP 2009.

Just three days and a lot of workshops and activities later, we had another successful evening event. Casino Night was on the agenda. After cross dressing on Monday we decided to dress smart on Thursday. We created a nice casino atmosphere and prepared a lot of fake notes so that everybody was able to play with money. Every student received 200,- € in the beginning so that they could place their bets. We offered Poker, Black Jack, Jungle Speed and some other card games and rolling dice opportunities. Some students ran out of money soon, while others were winning all the time.

Now, we are very excited about our new arrivals on the weekend, because our next Welcome Party will be a Christmas Party, which should be very exciting. So come to IP Bournemouth if you want to celebrate Christmas in the summertime!
